Sutton Homes is very honored to have won several awards as given by the Home Bulders Association of Raleigh-Wake County. As a result of the attention to detail and innovative ideas that we put into our homes we received a Silver Award in 2003 and a Gold Award in 2002.

The following letter appeared in the Neighborhood Builder, a publication of the Home Builder Association of Raleigh-Wake County:

To: The Home Builders Asssociation of Raleigh/Wake County,

I would like to express to you my sincerest appreciation toward Preston Sutton, owner of Sutton Homes, Inc. My way to thank him for all his hard work is to tell your association of his fine work.

Preston Sutton is an amazing builder, not only in his workmanship but also with his character. He has proven to be a dedicated and hardworking builder. Preston was almost always available to answer any questions we had and if he wasn't available, he would call back quickly. We never had to wait or call him more than once.

I have heard complaints from others about their builders - "this" or "that" problem or things not being resolved or fixed. I never encountered that kind of problem with Preston. Preston is "hands on" with his homes. You can tell taht he truly loves what he is doing when you find him in a sweltering attic, drenched from the heat, working on one of his homes.

My home is a pleasure to live in. The fine details Preston thought of really have made a difference for our happiness in the home.

I would highly recommend a Sutton Home to anyone who is considering building a home. They will have an enjoyable experience working with such an insightful and talented man - and they will be getting a beautiful home!

"We immediately fell in love with our house."

We first discovered Sutton Homes as we searched for a larger house in Apex. We immediately fell in love with our house. The attention to detail and the use of space is incredible in our house. We were attracted by the closets, the “little” extras, and the craftsmanship that Sutton Homes offered in our house.

We were equally impressed by the service offered by Preston Sutton. His hands-on dedication and willingness to please the customer is unmatched among builders. During the building process we periodically visited our house and would frequently see Preston there working on the “little details” that separates a “house” from a “home”. During the process of building and buying our house, we formed a good relationship with Preston.

This relationship still exists 3 years later as we run into Preston around Apex. He still remembers our names and genuinely inquires about our family. We are very happy with the quality of a Sutton Home. And in the future when we build our custom home, Preston will be at the top of the list.

We are very satisfied with our beautiful home of 3 years and feel fortunate to have formed a lasting relationship with our builder.
