Sutton Homes Launches New Website

Thanks for visiting Sutton Homes.com. We have released our new website with better functionality and fresh content. Below are some of the features we have added. Questions or comments: info@sutton-homes.com

New Features

Primary Navigation
The grey bar under the SH logo currently only has one menu item "Sutton Homes". This is primary navigation where we will be adding other items soon.

Secondary Navigation
Left margin. Dynamically driven menu structure. This method allows us to update content quickly and more frequently.

Lightbox
We chose Lightbox technology for images and image galleries because it gives a visitor multiple viewing options and presents the image more clearly than most other methods. When viewing the galleries, clicking on the image "Title", (the text and not the image) then it will go to that individual image and allow a visitor to see the original large image. Once Lightbox initiates, there is a text link at the bottom that also goes to the individual image.

Random Image
A random image will be displayed on most all pages except the home page. These images are attached to Lightbox. Once Lightbox initiates then there is a text link to the image at the bottom left corner.

Tags
Tags are located at the top of the page between the Title and Body of the page. Tags are part of a "Tag Cloud" that connects like-terms and displays the associated content. When clicking on a Tag, then any content with that Tag will be displayed on a page and can be explored further. Pages are created dynamically based on the content that a visitor wants to see. RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
RSS integration allows anyone to subscribe to our content. If you are familiar with RSS then you know what to do, to learn more visit the term RSS at Wikipedia. We chose RSS because it is a universal method to distribute Sutton Homes news to any agency or person that would be interested in our content.

Search
The search box is located in the top right margin. The site is indexed multiple times daily so the most recent content can be found. Search results are displayed in a simple list format and there is an option to do advanced search.

Print-Friendly Templates
Templates are print-friendly by using FILE/PRINT in web browsers.

Email this Page
"Email this page" functionality is on most all content. An online form to send a page from Sutton Homes to someone else via email.

Weather
Non-branded weather reports direct from the source. NOAA has a "clickable" map to quickly view the weather. More in-depth reports and views are available at the NOAA website.
